Comments On Style

Very political to “pretty” picures. The cartoons from the New Yorker show his humor best. The minimalistic cartoons convey a lot of attitude. The covers look a little like illustrated watercolors, the effect is very interesting to look at.

Influences

Honore Daumier, Jean Louis Forain, Thomas Rowlandson

Personality

personality that comes through in the artwork is very opinionated and helpful. Barlow has been involved in several fund raisers in the last couple of years including, the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk on September 21, 2008.
