Bio Summary
Also known as a graphic designer, Herb Klynn helped create several cartoons for UPA including Mr. Magoo and Gerald McBoing-Boing. In 1959 he left UPA and started Format Productions with Jules Engel, also of UPA.

Herb Started as a Designer with UPA in 1948 and then became a Color Designer shortly thereafter. In 1951 he became a Production Manager and eventually became the Executive Production Manager. In 1959 he co-founded Format Productions to produce cartoons for television. He continued work as a Producer and Executive Producer through the 1960s.
