Bio Summary

Began as an animator for Disney in 1931. Later he became a sequence director for some of the animated features, and the animated shorts. He also directed a couple of the animated movies as well. Later in the 1950's he began supervising new animation to tie in with the old shorts for Disney for television. In 1959, Kinney left Disney and opened his own studio with his brother Dick and produced Saturday mourning cartoons.

Brother Dick Kinney wrote Disney cartoons, many of them where directed by Jack. 
He had a wife Jane, and three children , from a former marriage.

Began work at Walt Disney Studios in 1931. 
In 1959 left Disney and started his own studio called Jack Kinney Productions. 
In 1988 wrote Walt Disney and Assorted Other Characters An Unauthorized Account of the early years at Disney’s which includes 125 illustrations he did.
