Founded Robert Abel & Associates in 1971.
From the 70's through the 80's Robert Abel & Assoc. led the way for visual effects. He is one of the visionaries of Digital Computer Graphics and Visual Effects. Abel mostly worked in television advertising. He created 33 award winning commercials. His mentor was the "Father" of computer graphics, John Whitney Sr.
Abel later became an Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker, for such films as Making of the President, Mad Dogs and Englishmen.
